The Mercedes-Benz of Omaha facility represents the culmination of extensive planning and coordination of the requirements of the local dealership (Premier Motorcars of Nebraska), its out-of-state Owner, and Mercedes Benz USA corporate offices in New Jersey and California.  Our design team worked continuously with each of these entities to develop plans which not only comply with Mercedes Benz guidelines, but actually create a new standard of design of it dealerships within the U.S.

The building’s volumes are thoughtfully blended as they rise from the long, narrow site.  A combination of sandblasted and ribbed precast concrete panels give the facility and appearance of sophistication and stability with their highly articulate surfaces.  The gently curved, glass enclosed showroom reaches out to catch the attention motorists and shines brightly to boast its display after dark.  The project’s most dramatic feature is its arched showroom wall and sleek main entrance block, suggesting fluidity of movement and the speed of the vehicles within.
